About Us

Mother Annapurna

 Goddess Parvati, the spouse of lord Siva , in the form of Sri Annapurna, the giver of food, is chiselled in basalt with a beatific smile on her face stands in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. 

Come visit Mother Annapurna at the Temple and seek her blessings.

 

 The COVID-19 lockdown has come to an end and during these hard times the temple had the opportunity to serve close to 1200 food packets to people in and around Kadapa town on a daily basis. Annapurna temple thanks all its generous patrons and dedicated  volunteers who helped support the COVID-19 food distribution program and making it a big success.

 

Lord Gnaneswara

 Lord Siva is enshrined in a separate temple south of Sri Annapurna's. Here, Siva is a ' narmada bana linga', with all the insignias of Siva, naturally formed on the linga. In this temple Lord Siva is known as ' Jnaneswar', lord of Wisdom, (the bestower of wisdom.)

 Annapurna temple will be in the forefront to help humanity in the times of crisis to offer free food to the people who are deprived and needy.
